The STRIKE ONE is once again amazing us with her trophy sized fish and consistency of these catches this month.  This photo is of Keith Simmons from Houston, Texas.  The Yellow fin tuna on the left is probably about 120 pounds and his big brother on the right is definitely well over 300 pounds.  Keith spent 2 days with Captain Hector and the crew on the STRIKE ONE and will certainly be back next season. 

John Martin from San Diego visited Puerto Vallarta for the first time and his reward was a beautiful Marlin.  John commented that PV is definitely under rated as a world-class fishing destination. With the abundance of bait, fish and the highly experienced teams that man the charters, he felt that Vallarta should be ranked as one of the top 10 destinations world wide.  He also spent the day on the STRIKE ONE. 

What started off to be another of those nice STRIKE ONE 'Family Fun Days' turned out to be a very exciting fishing adventure.  Kelly Sanderson and her 3 children fished for the very first time and really had no idea what to expect.  Much to the family's surprise, Kelly landed a very good-sized Sailfish and the fight was considerably more than what Kelly had counted on.  Now the kids are 'Hooked' and so is Kelly and the 'Family Fun Days' are a thing of the past. Blue water deep-sea fishing is what they all want to do on their next vacation.   

For all of you STRIKE ONE regulars, Bill and Soraya have acquired a new boat, also a Luhrs but a 31' beauty that is almost brand new.  The LIRON is now available for charter for parties of 4 and this boat is Immaculate!  Her Debut was in the most recent WBS where she hooked the only Marlin of the day.  Check our website soon for details and the great prices that Bill will charter this boat for the summer season.
