Phil had the pleasure of hosting Norma and Bill Albaugh for a charter to celebrate their 45th Wedding Anniversary.  Norma had planned this surprise trip months in advance and really wanted to see husband Bill land something memorable. This charming couple spent a day on the EL AMO and Bill hooked and landed a 341-pound Yellow fin tuna in less than 45 minutes.  If you think that this is quite a feat for a 70 something year old guy, then you are in for a surprise.  This ex Marine is in prime condition and despite the heat of the day, handled the fight with ease.  Norma is quite an adventuresome gal as well.  On the morning after this exhausting 10-hour deep-sea charter, she went parasailing! 

This couple certainly knows how to spend their leisure time.  On the following day, Phil took Bill to Agua Milpa for some bass fishing.  The bite was not fantastic as it often is, but Bill landed a few bass and thoroughly enjoyed seeing some of the countryside on the drive.  The Albaugh's are planning on spending a month in Puerto Vallarta early next year and we know that they will continue to enjoy every day to it's fullest. 

Bill noticed that Phil was a 'Camera Hog' and here he is trying to push Phil down and out of the way of his giant Tuna.  If you check our archives, you will see Phil consistently in front of the 'Catch of the Day'.  Hey Phil, you're cute but not THAT cute!
