Captain Cesar and the MAGNIFICO had an interesting charter on the 4^th of July.  Albert Lopez landed a huge Pargo (red snapper) while trolling for marlin at La Corbeteñia.  He brought in this impressive fish using 50-pound test on Gold International gear.  The fish was expertly skinned and is now in the 'Mysterious Mounting Place' where time seems to have no meaning.  Albert will likely have to do some furniture arranging in a few months to accommodate this trophy.  The 80 pounds of pure white meat was delivered to the restaurant in the Westin Regina where it was prepared for the large wedding party that Albert was a member of.  Now that's the way to spend the 4^th of July in Puerto Vallarta!

Why is this photo fuzzy?  Well, Phil's 'free with aftershave camera' was a bit damp and the lens was not doing it lens thing.  Sorry guys, if you can send a better photo of this incredible Pargo, I will use it over and over.   Congratulations, this is an amazing fish!
